Starting with the little finger, rub each finger in turn as you say each line in the chant. When you get to the thumb, wiggle it and then trace up and down the thumb and each finger back to the little finger. Push the thumb in and cover it with the other fingers.
This little finger went to school in a car.
This little finger rode the bus.
This tall finger rode a bicycle.
And this one chose to walk.
This thumb lived so-o-o far away
It had to go up the hill and down.
